Summer audition workshop at Foothill
Got this message from Annie Get Your Gun assistant director, Annette Stenger:
Tom Gough (Foothill Drama Instructor and former Artistic Director at City Lights) is offering his auditioning class at Foothill College this summer. I have taken it and it is terrific! Great way to work on some monologues with excellent feedback and try out new material for you experienced theatre folks. This class will not go if he does not make it's numbers.....so if you are interested - and would like something fun to do this summer, please register by Friday if possible - on-line.

This class, taught by Former City Lights Theater Co. Artistic Director Tom Gough, will be a practical focus on preparing the actor to face the rigors of many different possibilities and circumstances you may encounter in auditioning for stage roles. Students will actively practice and study the following topics:
• Cold reading auditions
• Monologue preparation (Both Classical & Contemporary)
• Improvisation
• Anxiety reduction and focus
• Audition preparation
• Recommendations on headshots and resume writing
• Other aspects of the business of acting
