Going to see Urinetown tonight
I am quite excited to see the show. I saw it in SF a couple years ago, up in the mezzanine. Loved it, but think it will be an entirely different show in Jay's hands and in the intimate setting of Foothill's studio theatre.
I was just describing the show to a friend this morning as "Brechtian, but actually entertaining." Yeah, I'm so low-brow I don't think much of the show this most reminds me of, Threepenny Opera, even though I was in the wonderful Foothill production of Threepenny 12 years ago (yikes!)
Will try to post my review tomorrow no matter what.
