NY Times revew of NYC Opera "Candide"
The first production I ever saw of Candide was nearly two decades ago: a NYC Opera version on Great Performances on PBS.
It starred Erie Mills as a fantastic show-stealing Cunegonde. And Ivy Austin was one of the memorable sheep that all you FMT blog readers know are my favorite part of the show :)
